SuryahÂs MayaviÂs secret launch

The launch of 'Mayavi the Suryah- Jothika starrer produced by Bala took place in the farm house in the outskirts of chennai.
Except for film personalities nobody from the media was informed. A huge brochure with CD of the publicity shoot was distributed without mentioning the venue of the launch. Balu Mahendra and wife switched on the camera and Vikram sounded the clap board. A token one day shoot began. Singampuli of Red fame directs this film which has Suryah in a makeup that makes him look like P C Sorcar. The director says this unusual film with comedy as the base has the hero in a mystery man role that often does the vanishing act. The role is an extension of the SuryahÂs character in Pithamaghan.
